It’s the day before the first day of spring, the beginning of February, like a Groundhog Day!
In Japan, families scattering beans with shouting “ Devils out, lucky come!”
It’s a ritual for playing happy and healthy life. Along with this fun scattering thing, people eat a whole uncut sushi roll facing lucky direction of each year. This sushi called “Ehoumaki”.
There will be an upcoming Ehoumaki cooking class on Wednesday, January 31st!
